Jun 8, 2005 : The Bean
Las Cruces/Mesilla, NM (2011 Avenida de Mesilla)
Thus begins a four date mini-tour with Andrea Maxand. Also on the bill is my man Ryjan Creason.
Jun 9, 2005 : Plush
Tucson, AZ (340 E. 6th St)
This is, without question, the sweetest club in Tucson. Andrea and I will be there at 9 pm.
Jun 10, 2005 : The Counterculture Cafe
Phoenix, AZ
A rare solo appearance by the one Conan Zimmerman of Dustjacket should make this evening a special treat for me and Andrea.
Jun 11, 2005 : Progressive Stage
Flagstaff, AZ
Andrea and I perform in the afternoon as part of Flagstaff's Pride Weekend celebration. Flagstaff is one of my favorite cities in the West, so any time I get to play there is something I look forward to. 2:30 pm is the start time.
Jun 23, 2005 : The Trunk Space
Phoenix, AZ (1506 Grand)
I hear great things about this cozy art space. I'll be doing my thing with friends Dustjacket and The Letterpress, then bidding my crew farewell as I head West a few days later.
Jul 1, 2005 : Karma Coffeehouse
Los Angeles (1544 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood)
I'll be rocking Tinseltown this evening at the Karma with pop genius Brandon Schott. Everyone knows that in the future we're living in, coffee is what keeps the Hollywood hipsters up all night. I play at 8:45.
Jul 2, 2005 : Twiggs
San Diego, CA
Rocking at the San Diego listening room to be seen listening in. My man Kethro is in on this one.
Jul 5, 2005 : The Stork Club
Oakland, CA (2330 Telegraph Ave.)
This is part of the Americana series 'Tuesday Night Hayride' at The Stork Club in Oak-town. Stop by and whoop it up with me and the other yahoos on the bill.
Jul 6, 2005 : Red Square
Sacramento, CA
7:30 showtime.
Jul 7, 2005 : The Makeout Room
San Francisco, CA (3225 22nd St.)
This show is going to be awesome! My main man Michael Zapruder and his band head the night's bill with Charles Atlas also performing.
Jul 8, 2005 : Serendipity (The Dip)
Redding, CA
Aahh...Northern Cal's finest (er, only) music venue!
Jul 9, 2005 : Sacred Grounds
Arcata, CA
A show with Living in the Ice Age and The Ian Fays in lovely Humboldt County! I'm definitely feeling this venue's coffee viewpoint. I've wanted to start a holy war or two over lack of brew in the morning. Looks like there'll be no need for that in Arcata.
Jul 12, 2005 : The Green Room
Portland, OR
This is a quick set at a songwriter showcase hosted by Northwest Radio.
Jul 14, 2005 : Imbibe
Portland, OR
This venue is always a pleasure. The menu is superb, the atmosphere is classy and chill, and the bar is stocked with all the good stuff. Check here for more info.
Jul 15, 2005 : Venus/Mars Bar
Seattle, WA
This show will conclude the Lower 48 portion of my Summer Tour. Andrea Maxand and Chad Hinman will join me for this one.
Jul 20, 2005 : Humpy's Alehouse
Anchorage, AK
The first show of an AK tour with Jared Woods. I've somehow managed to play in Anchorage year after year after year and never play this venerable local stage. This place is always packed, and my man JW is a hit here, so scope a seat out early. 21+, 9 pm.
Jul 21, 2005 : Bernie's Bungalow Lounge
Anchorage, AK
From beer to martinis, the tour goes. This joint was actually the site of the first Crystal Radio show, several hundred years ago. 21+, 9 pm.
Jul 22, 2005 : Bear Country Music Festival
Kodiak, AK
In which Jared and I brave hordes of blood-thirsty grizzly bears and even more blood-thirsty mosquitos to bring it for K. Island. This is an all-ages event.
Jul 23, 2005 : Bear Country Music Festival
Kodiak, AK
Day two of the festival. I'm having discomforting premonitions of having to pull a tie-dye clad JW out of a hippy drum circle at the last minute so we can catch our float plane back to civilization. I'm consulting some close Sith friends of mine about keeping this from happening. Check back for updates.
Jul 24, 2005 : Harborside Fly-By Coffeehouse
Kodiak, AK
Oh, wait- I guess I can leave Jared banging his djembe in peace. We'll still be in beautiful Kodiak another day, playing a nice coffeehouse show. All ages.
Jul 25, 2005 : The Rendezvous
Kodiak, AK
Opening for the Amazing Rhythm Aces, who know all about "Third rate romance" and "Low rent rendezvous'".
Jul 27, 2005 : Vagabond Blues
Palmer, AK
I've played out at this place in the past with my main man, Matt Hopper. Hops is a legend in these parts. They've got stuffed heads of bears and mountain lions he's wrestled to the death with, as well as all of his high school football trophies in glass cases out there. Mr. Woods and I grace the stage at 7 pm. All ages.
Jul 28, 2005 : Organic Oasis
Anchorage, AK
All-ages action. Wheat grass shots and organic beer are the bevs of choice in these parts. 7 pm showtime.
Jul 30, 2005 : Metro Books and Music

An in-store appearance at one of my hometown's meccas for music and literature. I've been informed that French toast will be served! 11:45 am - 2:30pm.
Jul 30, 2005 : Snow Goose Pub
Anchorage, AK
Wrapping things up with a gig at one of Anchorage's favorite nightspots. 9 pm, no cover, 21+.
Aug 4, 2005 : Bernie's Bungalow
Anchorage, AK
This one was a late addition. Jared and I will be opening up the evening for local rock stars Delmag. 9 pm.
Aug 17, 2005 : The Tractor Tavern (CD Release Show!)
Seattle, WA (Ballard Ave.)
The release of my new record, The Absentee EP , is the excuse for kicking off another loop around the U-S-of-A in a friendly joint- Ballard's mothership of roots music, the Tractor Tavern. This evening's going to be a great one. Atlanta's Michelle Malone follows my set with more Southern soul than might be proper to consume on a Wednesday night, and the night comes to a rocking climax with Dr. Feelgood Chad Hinman and his band. Both artists are fantastic, so plan to stick around. I play at 9pm sharp.
Aug 18, 2005 : Doug Fir Lounge
Portland, OR
Opening up for Michelle Malone in the Rose City's hippest new watering hole. Check out the digs here. Also on the bill are local blooze bashers Hillstomp. Should be an excellent affair. 9 pm.

Aug 23, 2005 : The Spur
Park City, UT
This one will be a solo outing with Brinton Jones, on loan from Palomino.
Aug 24, 2005 : The Walnut Room
Denver, CO
This place looks classy and new. I'll be performing in the thin air capital of the country at 9 pm.
Aug 24, 2005 : Albums on the Hill (in-store performance)
Boulder, CO
This is the best record shop in Colorado, if not the west. I perform at 3 pm.
Aug 25, 2005 : Mick's Music
Omaha, NE
This has to be one of the most beautiful, music-friendly venues around. I'm looking forward to being back. You Omahans are in for a special treat this evening- opening the show is none other than 'Mick' himself, the one Michael Campell. Visit the venue site for more details.
Aug 26, 2005 : The Aardvark
Ft. Worth, TX
This is a loaded bill- I'll be at Ft. Worth's finest music destination sharing the stage with some very fine Texas voices- Collin Herring and David Garza.
Aug 27, 2005 : Opolis
Norman, OK
Also on the bill: I and I and Ghost of Monkhood. I love Norman and can't wait to get back there. But I can never remember if it's the Sooners or the other guys who play football there. I know it's good to wear orange there. Or maybe it's not. Damn. Gotta do some research.
Aug 29, 2005 : Cain's Ballroom
Tulsa, OK
Tonight should be special. I'm supporting a terrific songwriter by the name of David Mead in what appears to be one of the most beautiful venues in the country.
Aug 31, 2005 : The Barley House
Dallas, TX (5912 Yale Ave.)
This is a different B-House than I rocked last winter. Same owners, new locale. I'm sure the vibe is even cooler, if anything.

Austin, TX (2008 S. Congress)
Back in A-Town for what should be a rocking Saturday night on Congress Ave. I'll be opening for The Ruse. I play at 9:30.
Sep 5, 2005 : Longbranch Inn
Austin, TX
I'll be playing a short set at this legendary Austin songwriter dive.
Sep 7, 2005 : Hal and Mals (CANCELLED)
Jackson, MS
Aahhh...This great Jackson nightspot is starting to feel like a home away from...er, my other homes away from home. The great Eric Stracener hosts the bill.
Sep 8, 2005 : TBA (CANCELLED)
Toccoa, GA
Rocking the sticks with the one and only They Sang as They Slew. Venue to be named shortly.
Sep 9, 2005 : The Vineyard Cafe
Raleigh, NC
Back in the Triangle with The Radio Silence. Joe and the boys are cooking up something special for this show- should be a great one. The venue is The Vineyard Cafe, a now defunct local stage that's being specially re-opened for a last hurrah starring yours truly, Joe Lieb and crew, and local stars Lobbyist

Raleigh, NC (413 Glenwood Ave.)
A coffeehouse gig at Raleigh's Helio's. 9 pm Showtime.
Sep 13, 2005 : The Purple Fiddle
Thomas, WV
This will be the official kickoff gig for the loop I'm embarking on with the one Andrew Grimm. Andrew's been a great friend and bill-mate over the past year and it should be great playing both in and outside of his native Baltimore with him. This is where to find the venue info.

Shoot me an email (info@andrewnorsworthy.com) and I'll guide you to this one.

Canton, OH
A classy downtown coffeehouse in classy Canton, OH. I'm returning to the stage w/Andrew Grimm- The Baltimore Reaper- in tow. Venue info here. 9 pm showtime.
Sep 17, 2005 : Ryan's Daughter

Back in B-more with for a pub date. Grimm and I are rocking this one for the Irish. 9 pm.
