Falling is Faster
This is a really old one. I must have been 18 or so, living in Waco, TX, playing music with my partner, Jeremy Boyd. This was one of our songs, and I'm not sure why it wasn't on the record we made...Anyways, when i started to put together 'Stateside', this song sort of reappeared and suggested itself for inclusion. I did a little rewriting, and now it's got a new life. It really makes me think of driving back and forth from Waco to Dallas for sketchy little gigs. That's Josh Williams, the drummer, helping out on the high harmonies.
