Hummingbirds
I started this one in Phoenix sitting in my car under a streetlamp and finished it in Arcata, CA, up in an attic bedroom at my friend Samantha's house. It was the first song recorded for the record. With a rainstorm pounding the windows of the studio, Jared and I played our quietest song while Shawn and Steven made the best of things. We wound up going Judo-style on the noise and I like it better for it.
